Boy #1 (age 5): Mommy, I don't want to pay for toys with my money anymore because it wastes my money. I want someone else to buy them for me. Can't I just play with my money instead, and not spend it?

Hey! Thanks for visiting my blog! Congratulations on such a great (and economically creative!) family. Your son sounds adorable. Now if I could just get the grandparents to let my DD play with their money instead of buying more toys!
We hope to have a large family as well and will be homeschooling. Of course our first is only 16 months and we are still expecting #2, but you have to start somewhere!
